We built a platform where every scholar is credential-verified, every session is booked instantly, and the entire consultation happens in one place — in English, Arabic, or French.
When Muslims need genuine Islamic guidance — on marriage, inheritance, religious rulings, or spiritual matters — they deserve access to scholars with verified credentials. Yet most online platforms treat Islamic scholars the same as GCSE tutors, child minders, or business coaches. Anyone can self-list. There is no credential review. The "vetting" is a vague badge with no transparency about what it means.
The booking experience is equally frustrating. You find a scholar, pay, and then wait for an admin to email you a time. There is no calendar, no timezone conversion, no in-app video. You are paying for a service and then being told to sort out the logistics yourself.
ImamLink was built to fix both of these problems. Every scholar on this platform has submitted their credentials — Ijazah certificates, university degrees, reference letters — and had them reviewed by our team before their profile goes live. And every booking is made on a live calendar, confirmed instantly, with the video call built in.
We built ImamLink because finding a genuinely qualified Islamic scholar online is unnecessarily difficult. General directories mix scholars with unverified providers. We solve this by requiring credential documents from every scholar before their profile goes live.
On other platforms, you pay and then wait for an admin to email you a time. On ImamLink, you see a scholar's live calendar, pick a slot in your timezone, and receive instant confirmation. The entire consultation — booking, messaging, and video call — happens in one place.
We support English, Arabic (with full right-to-left layout), and French — because the Muslim community spans continents. Whether you are in London, Cairo, or Paris, ImamLink works in your language.
Scholars keep 80–95% of every session fee depending on their tier. We believe that if scholars are paid fairly, they stay engaged, maintain quality, and the community benefits. This is not a race to the bottom on pricing.
Every scholar must submit at least one of the following. Our team reviews the documents and, where possible, verifies authenticity with the issuing institution.
Traditional Islamic certification of mastery in a specific discipline, granted by a recognised scholar in an unbroken chain back to the Prophet ﷺ.
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Islamic Studies, Fiqh, Aqeedah, Quran Sciences, or related disciplines from an accredited institution.
Certificates from recognised Islamic institutions such as Al-Azhar, Darul Ulooms, Islamic universities, or accredited seminary programmes.
Letters from senior scholars or Islamic institutions vouching for the applicant's knowledge, character, and suitability to guide others.
After verification, each scholar is assigned a tier based on their qualifications. This is displayed on their profile so you know exactly the level of expertise you are engaging with.
Institutional certification or early-career Ijazah. Suitable for Quran recitation, basic fiqh questions, and general Islamic guidance.
University degree or multiple Ijazahs. Suitable for advanced fiqh, family matters, and theological questions.
Postgraduate qualification or extensive scholarly experience. Suitable for complex legal rulings and specialised guidance.
Doctorate or internationally recognised authority. Reserved for the most senior scholars on the platform.
